Baltasar del Charco Horques, in the world Antonius Raimundus Didacus, was born at Granada on 12 November 1887 and entered the Hospitaller Order of St John of God by perpetual vows on 27 February 1910. He is named in the decree on the martyrdom of Mauricio Íñiguez de Heredia Alzóla and twenty-three companions of the Order, killed between 1936 and 1937, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
