Who they were

Dean of the collegiate church of Ligny in the diocese of Verdun, born on 19 October 1723. Shut up during the French Revolution in a cargo ship because of his priesthood, he was worn out and then struck by disease, and died on 28 August 1794. He was beatified on 1 October 1995 by John Paul II, among Jean-Baptiste Souzy and sixty-three companions who died on the prison ships off Rochefort.
