Who they were
Eduardo Cabanach Majem was born at Bellmunt, near Tarragona, on 31 December 1908, made his religious profession in 1926 and was ordained priest in 1933. Thrown into prison, he declared Christ to be king and shed his blood on 25 August 1936, one of four of this group killed that day at Vila-rodona. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Iacobus Puig Mirosa and nineteen companions of the Congregation of the Sons of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
