Who they were
Eliseo María Maneus Besalduch was born on 15 December 1896 at San Mateo in Castellón, made his solemn profession in 1919 and was ordained priest in 1920; he spent some years in the ministry in Brazil and, back in his own country, was named master of novices at Tàrrega in 1934.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, among Ángel María Prat Hostench and his sixteen companions of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, killed in 1936.
