Who they were
Brother Luis Victorio (Eusebio Angulo Ayala) was born at Quintanilla de Valdegovía, in Álava, and made his perpetual vows as a Brother of the Christian Schools in 1921. He gave himself to education and directed some of the Brothers' schools. He was living in Madrid when the persecution broke out and was killed there in 1936, together with Brother Juniano Alberto (Alberto José Larzábal Michelena).
Pope Benedict XVI declared him a martyr in 2011, and he was beatified at Tarragona on 13 October 2013 with his companions.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
One of sixteen De La Salle Brothers killed in Madrid in the religious persecution of 1936-1937, beatified as martyrs in 2013.
