Who they were
Fulgentius was the brother of Sts Leander and Isidore of Seville and St Florentina, and like them gave himself to the Church. He became Bishop of Astigi (Écija), probably through Leander's influence.
Little is known of his life. He died before 633 and, like his sister and brothers, was honoured as a saint.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
