Honorio Ballesteros Rodríguez, in the world Petrus Eusebius, was born at Ocana near Toledo, in Spain, on 29 April 1895 and gave himself to God by perpetual vows in the Hospitaller Order of St John of God on 12 October 1920. He is named in the decree on the martyrdom of Mauricio Íñiguez de Heredia Alzóla and twenty-three companions of the Order, killed between 1936 and 1937, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
