In the city of Nangong in the province of Hebei in China, Saint John Wang Kuixin, martyr, who during the Boxer persecution preferred to die for Christ rather than stain himself with even a slight lie.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 14 July as a Boxer-persecution martyr at Nangong who would not tell even a slight lie to save his life.
