Who they were
At Nagasaki in Japan, Blessed Matthias Araki and seven companions, martyrs, who suffered martyrdom for Christ. Their names are: Blesseds Peter Arakiyori Chobioye and Susanna, husband and wife; John Tanaka and Catherine, husband and wife; John Nagai Naisen and Monica, husband and wife, and the little Louis, their son.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 12 July as the little son of Blessed John Nagai Naisen and Blessed Monica, martyred with them at Nagasaki.
