Who they were
Luis Aguirre Bilbao was a lay brother of the Congregation of the Mission, born at Munguía in Vizcaya on 19 August 1914, who made his perpetual vows in 1933. He was shot at Alcorisa on 29 July 1936. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Fortunato Velasco Tobar and thirteen companions of the Congregation of the Mission.
