Who they were
Manuel Galcerá Videllet was born at Caseres on 6 July 1877, was ordained priest in the cathedral of Huesca on 1 June 1901 and served in seminaries at Zaragoza, Barcelona, Tarragona, Cuernavaca, Badajoz, Ciudad Real, Valladolid and Baeza and at the Spanish College in Rome; he was shot on 3 September 1936 together with thirty other people. He was beatified on 30 October 2021 by Pope Francis among Francisco Cástor Sojo López and three companions.
