Why that counted as sanctity
Perrín, a non-believer as a young man, came to the faith through his future wife and then through the Focolare Movement, and spent his life in Punta Alta and Bahía Blanca drawing neighbours, workmates and priests to the faith; he was the father of María Cecilia Perrín de Buide, whose own cause is open. The Focolare Movement's Cono Sur site states that he was declared a Servant of God in 2005, together with his daughter; the Hagiography Circle gives 15 December 2007 for the nihil obstat.
