Who they were
María Cecilia Perrín de Buide, a married teacher and member of the Focolare Movement, fell gravely ill while pregnant, had her daughter María Agustina delivered at seven months and died on 1 March 1985 aged twenty-eight. She is buried at Mariápolis Lía.

Archbishop Guillermo José Garlatti of Bahía Blanca petitioned the Congregation for the Causes of Saints on 7 October 2005; the official cause site dates the Vatican's consent to 10 November 2005 and the opening session of the diocesan tribunal to 10 April 2007, where the Hagiography Circle gives 30 November 2005 and 10 April 2006.
