Who they were
Maria Adelaidis Schramm, in the world Clara, was born at Łączna on 3 June 1885 and made her perpetual vows in 1924; she stayed at Godzieszów to care for the elderly people entrusted to her and was killed there with them on 25 February 1945. She was beatified on 11 June 2022 at Wrocław by Pope Francis among Maria Paschalis Jahn and nine companions.
