Who they were
Born at San Andrés de Linares on 8 October 1910, he entered the minor seminary of Valdediós in 1924 and moved to the major seminary of Oviedo in 1929; in 1934 he was about to begin his fourth year of theology. Pope Francis beatified him with Ángel Cuartas Cristóbal and his eight companions on 9 March 2019.
