Who they were

A sister of the Congregation of the Franciscan Daughters of Mercy, born on 24 November 1903 at Petra, who entered the novitiate in 1928 and consecrated herself to the Lord by perpetual vows in 1935; she belonged to the same community as Catharina Caldés Socias and gave the same supreme witness of charity with her in July 1936.

She was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, in the cause of Simó Reynés Solivellas and his companions.

The miracles

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.

Why that counted as sanctity

The decree on martyrdom names her among the Servants of God held at once to be martyrs of the faith.
