Who they were
Born on 22 February 1861 and ordained priest in 1885, he entered the Order of Discalced Carmelites and made his solemn vows in 1895; in his own friary he heard the confessions of the young religious and was their master of piety. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI with Eusebio del Niño Jesús (in the world Ovidio Fernández Arenillas) and 15 companions of the Order of Discalced Carmelites.
