Who they were
Pedro María Ferrer Marín was born in the province of Barcelona on 1 June 1909 and made his simple profession in 1935, while he was following his church studies in preparation for the priesthood.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, among Ángel María Prat Hostench and his sixteen companions of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, killed in 1936.
