Who they were
Pedro Tomás María Prat Colldecarrera was born on 4 August 1919 in the Vall de Bianya in Girona and made his temporary profession in 1935; at the time of his martyrdom he was following the course in philosophy leading to the priesthood.
He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Benedict XVI, among Ángel María Prat Hostench and his sixteen companions of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel, killed in 1936.
