Raimundo García Moreno, in the world Ioannes Antonius a Sancto Leone, was born at Lucena near Cordoba on 11 April 1896 and entered the Hospitaller Order of St John of God by perpetual vows on 8 September 1932. He is named in the decree on the martyrdom of Mauricio Íñiguez de Heredia Alzóla and twenty-three companions of the Order, killed between 1936 and 1937, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
