Who they were
Roberto Montserrat Beliart was born at Reus, near Tarragona, on 17 June 1911, made his religious profession in 1927 and was ordained priest in 1936. He was arrested at Barcelona on 13 November 1936, thrown into the prison of Sant Elies, and met his death there. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Iacobus Puig Mirosa and nineteen companions of the Congregation of the Sons of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
