Who they were

At Bordeaux in France, Blessed William Joseph Chaminade, priest, who, with his pastoral zeal long exercised in hiding, courageously sought to gather lay faithful together to promote devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and missions abroad, founding for this purpose the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate and the Society of Mary.
