Who they were
Jorge Vargas González was born at Ahualulco, Jalisco, on 28 September 1899, the son of a doctor. Working for the hydroelectric company during the persecution, he made his home a refuge for hunted priests.
At the end of March 1927 his family took in Anacleto González Flores, knowing what it might cost. He was killed with Anacleto, his brother Ramón and Luis Padilla Gómez in 1927.
