Who they were
Pedro Sadurni Raventós was born at Vilanova i la Geltrù, near Barcelona, on 22 April 1883, made his religious profession in 1900 and was ordained priest in 1914. He was killed at the cemetery of Lleida on 21 August 1936 alongside Juan Cuscó Oliver, the two having heard each other's confession before they died. Pope Francis beatified him on 13 October 2013, among the martyrs of Iacobus Puig Mirosa and nineteen companions of the Congregation of the Sons of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
